The Powder River Historical Society is pleased to announce plans for construction of a new “Welcome Building” at the Powder River Historical Museum in Broadus, Montana. The multi-purpose, single-story facility will serve as both a gateway to the museum campus and a civic welcome center for visitors to Broadus, Powder River County, and the surrounding Southeast Montana region.

The museum is located at the corner of Park Avenue and Wilson Street, one block north of the traffic light at the Broadus town square.

Located along the section of Highway 212 known as the Warrior Trail, Broadus has been described as the “Gateway” or “Crossroads” of Southeastern Montana. Plan your stop to eat, fuel up and browse antiques, clothing and western gifts, and make sure to take some extra time to visit the Powder River Historical Museum.
